got to utah lake today at provo harbor north jetty at 10:30 fished for 2/12 hours without a bite. $9.00 is alot to try your luck.so i packed up and headed for d/c i went where the river comes in and man is the lake high.i had to stad on the top of the bridge to fish.and the water is only about two feet from the bridge. i had five good hits but only caught one 14" brown. i had a real big one on that took out 30yrds of line in two seconds it must have been a big ol carp.well that was my day ill try ut lake again this weekend.

You need to get a state parks pass--otherwise you get pretty well hosed. Hopefully the money goes to the right places.

Man get a pass they are only $70.00 and pay for themselves quickly at $9.00 a trip.
