Patricia A Doerr has been selected as the new ASA Director for Ocean Resource Policy. Ms. Doerr comes to ASA with experience as a Professional Staff Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and later as Legislative Director of the Natural Resources Committee of the National Governor's Association. In both positions she gained broad experience in natural resource issues, including ocean and coastal zone management. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Environmental Policies, Institutions and Behaviors and Natural Resource Management from Cook College, Rutgers University. Her Masters degree, in Environment and Resource Policy, is from George Washington University. Ms. Doerr will begin at ASA on April 9, 2007.
