I started out about 9am. Air temp was about 55, water temp about 46. Started with pop gear and worm. noda. Tried flasher and worm still noda. Most fish I saw were between 20-30 ft. Tried some different colored flashers as well as a variety of Rapala's and still nothing. Finally one hit rebel crawfish bait. The only fish of the day. What should I have been using???

We were there Saturday afternoon/evening, fishing from the bank using Rainbow PowerBait. We were at Taylors Hollow. The fishing was fair, at best. I landed 3 bows in over 3 hours. The wind made casting problematic, and resulted in so many snags, I eventually ran out of swivels and sinkers.
Most of the boaters seemed to parked down by the main inlet. Maybe the larger trout are staging for the spawn.

A day can make a big difference. We were there on Friday morning for about 2 hours and brought 22 to the boat. Nothing big. Most fish were caught on RockyMountain dodgers with UV squid. Pink was the hot ticket that day. Fish were caught between 25 and 35 feet. Saw a bunch of larger fish between 40 and 50 but they had lock jaw. Tried some of the new spoons and they worked well also.

We fished the North end Friday and only pulled out 10. We took ride down South and found out that was everyone else was. Sounds/looks like that is the hot spot to be.
