[font "Comic Sans MS"][#008000][cool] The Coach, TieFlyer (son) and the Lil Minnow (boat) headed out for the clear blue sky and water at willardwe arived at Aprox 7:30 about the time the son was hiting the west Mts , we woundered if at first we could get Lil Minnow into the South bay, we did without a problem,(boat 14 1/2footer) we at first headed N-W out to the Island area, they now have it taged, and hiting bottom is almost a must with about 2-3 feet of water in this area, we got no hits and the fish finder was going nuts, however no hits, it started to get quite windy about 8:30 so we desided to troll up the S-E end along the bay area, still the wind was not our freind, Lil minnow and Coach desided to go into the South bay area, and docked the Lil Minnow, [
] but true, trollin was out for now. We went over and meet up with a man that was fishing from the banks, we desided to give it go, and low and behold WYPER ON, in the course of about 2 Hours we had 5 wyper and 2 cats, the best fishing was in the inlet (as it goes east) and towards the noth west end of the inlet, at this time more fisherman showed up and the fishing was fantastic we used feathered jigs that were white-green in color, and a bubble to see the hits and know when to jurk=FISH ON=, with hit after hit we had a blast just off the shore, at this time the wind was calming down abd Lil Minnow was complaning about the lck of use, so we headed out again to the S-W end (up next to the dick) alot of people was fishing this area from the banks, as we talked to most of them they were have BAD[pirate] luck. So my fisherman friends try it from the bank y never now, There were some that tryed to lanch boats, it is very shallow, if you go from the docks out sty to the left (South) of the marker it is 8-20 feet there, other wise you will get 1-2-3-feet, I hit the prop of my trolling motor (still keeps on ticking) Over all it is really shallow. The fsh were at a depth of 5-6 feet at the deepest parts (South to South-West ends) alot of Large dudes hanging on the bottom, I dragged deep and trolled 2-3 feet some hits, about 11:00, it really was dead at about Noon hundred, we pulled off the water at about 2:30 with 5 Wyper and 2 ats to our name..[laugh] I did take Pics but you all know what the Ugly ats are like and the wounderful looking Wyper..And now you know the rest of the story coming from the Coach, and Lil Minnow[
