Otter Creek

Well the family and I went down to Otter last Saturday and wooeee it was a cold puppy for about the first three hours. Fishing for us was about equally as cold. We moved around a lot and we finally found a few. We only ended up with 3 in about as many hours. There were plenty of lunkers swimming around but they just weren't interested in anything we really had to offer. I threw everything but my tackle box at 'em to no avail.

Maybe it was the weather, maybe the bait, maybe the spawn or the most likely just poor fishermen.[crazy]

Oddly enough , when my daughter and I were there on fri in the wind with about the same sucess, until at the suggestion of a fellow angler who had been there all day, my daughter threw on a fly and bubble, then it was a hit on most casts,(I could'nt believe it worked that well in 2-3 foot waves) however the wind continued to intensify until we could barely cast. I'm hoping to get back down there when I return from Maui in a couple of weeks.
