[size 1]SIDNEY, Neb. - For almost two decades, the rugged, reliable, waterproof protection of Cabela's Guidewear has made it the hands-down favorite among professional anglers, fishing guides and almost everyone who spends long days on the water in any weather. Today, Cabela's Guidewear is recognized worldwide as the industry standard by which all other high-performance rain gear is measured. Now Cabela's is proud to introduce the next generation of Cabela's Guidewear.
This latest evolution in rainwear includes all the durability and waterproof protection of classic Guidewear with an updated look and a load of new features specially designed for added comfort. Like the original, the shell is constructed of Cabela's-exclusive, 500-denier Guidewear fabric backed by a GORE-TEX membrane for waterproof, breathable protection you can count on in the wettest conditions. Both the Parka and Jacket eliminate the need for pesky hook-and-loop closures thanks to an innovative, overlapping gutter system combined with a 100% waterproof front zipper to keep hard-driven rain and spray out, yet allows for quick and easy on and off.
The Parka accommodates the XCS (Extreme Comfort System) Belt that offers added support for your back when fighting fish on choppy water all day long. Designed specially for use with the Guidewear Parka, it can be clipped in place or stowed. The three-point floating design will keep the belt in place no matter which direction you move and stows in the handy "garages" when not in use.
Two front slash, fleece-lined handwarmer pockets behind two front bellows pockets combine with a rear pocket and dual-layer chest pockets for a total of eight pockets to hold a wide range of gear. Inside, three additional security pockets keep gear dry and safe. "Floating" stretchable GORE-TEX® cuffs seal moisture out of the sleeves. Three-panel, three-point adjustable hood keeps your head fully protected without impeding vision. Articulated elbows ensure a full range of uninhibited motion. D-ring accessory attachments.
