The Bigest Catch In The WORLD
#1
I did it! I caught the bigest catch. I caught my wife and kids on 5 4o's and two soft plastics (See End of the Line) and (Government Fisheries).

I want to ask anglers help me catch an even bigger catch and change the thinking of what non fishing people think of anglers (They don't think much of us for catching fish and killing species and all that greenie speak Shyt) Anglers of America lets show the world we care and create the bigest fishing pole awareness and fundraiser in the world, The 'We care about kids' campaign.

Anglers !!! DUDES!!! Get on your back sides and do this. To Start this we need hundreds of thousands of us to start sending emails to Bigfish to get the dudes there to donate 20 cents for every hooksafe they sell through the Bigfish site, to be donated to a childrens hospital in every state. Spread the word on every forum and fishing chat room. Talk to other fishos at bars, rivers beaches and boat ramps at clubs and casinos. The fishos 'We Care about Kids' hooksafe a pole campaign. DO IT DUDES!!!!!

Anglers all over the US can show their support for the 'We care about kids' campaign, by puting a hooksafe on their poles and being seen all over the US to support childrens hospitals. For the first time Anglers can have something on our poles to show we do care.

Lets do it dudes. Lets all start raising money and heaps of it to help kids being injured everywhere in our great country.

Start emailing bigfish and lets get this party started.

I hope I can inspire others with my accident that should never have happened. For the price of a few beers we can spread the yellow of 'We Care About Kids' on poles across the USA.

Lets show the world anglers really do care about kids.
Start emailing bigfish and ask them to donate and help get this show on the poles. Then they will spead the word on the media and we then have a show. One small seed has been planted right here.

Don't knock it!!! Do it!!

yea ... and how much $$ stays in-house for "admin costs"?!

Enough $$ has been spent on BMW's, first class air, hotel suites, 'charity dinner' seats, etc., ...

That is true. Its just an idea. If you are not interested in helping do something for some one else other than be worried what others have got then keep your negativety to your self. You must always see the glass as half empty.

Sad and twisted. Keep drinking and no thinking.

your right on target with your asumptions.

not a negitive responce in the slightest.

what many poeple do not realize is many of the socalled fund raisers slash cherities only have to spend six percent of total proffits after expences per year to maintain charitable status.

as for bigfish and donations, bigfish is a sponcer of kids hooked on fishing, kids fishing international. these two alone equale to more donations per year than the company is eligable to wright off...

so the claims of the person here thinking that bigfish is sitting on a stick is unwarented. and if he or she realy beleives in the words he or she is putting out then that person needs to get up off the stick and get out and start running programs with organizations in his area because man power is the greatest short comming in getting the word out. These people work doing this for free. "not paid" and in many cases they volunteer thier family in the endevor to get the word out that we need a society who will respect our environment for the future of our children. we are at the vary least thousands of years of being able to leave this planet so we need to take care of this one, it is not disposable...

I think that birddog was more so refering to how unsafe it is to donate to charity now a days. With so many charity organizations availible, it's hard to know who is legit and who is pocketing the cash. Also, I think your post was a little misleading. Maybe you should be more specific on your game plan and then you may yield a more postive response. I wasn't sure exactly what your proposal was based on what you had written. This site gets loads of charity proposals all the time, and many of them aren't for real. With that said, there are other ways to help out for the unsure.

Each states Department of Natural Resources or equilivent has lists of legitiment charity cases for each local area. They are a great resource and a good place to start. I know our local DNR does a ton for our kids and the community. I'm active in charity myself, but in my own way. I would rather sponsor a local kids event than donate money to a cause i'm not able to actually see the benefit of. Call me skeptical, but i'd rather be safe than sorry with my hard earned money, regardless of how small an amount it is.

But, thanks for sharing anyhow!
