We arrived at Lincoln Saturday morning around 7:00 . The island looked like it was busy with quite a few boats so I decided to fish just below the retention pond around from the ramp. It was kind of slow for the most part, but we did manage to catch 5 between three of us before we left around 1:00. I have not fished for cats for a couple of years because the wipers have taken all my attention. I forgot how much fun these cats are to catch. I will have to try it a couple more times this summer.

[cool]Nice report! Those are some nice kitties there. It looks like the channel cat spawn is in full swing down there, which means fish near any rocky bottom/structure close to shore (or Bird Island) and you can rip them this time of year. I remember the 26th of June in '03 I caught a nice 10-12 pounder right off the shore at 3rd spring, but water is so high now that nobody has been able to shore fish that area since '04 or so. Good times...
