I am not sure how many of you are aware of this or if you even have 7-11's in your state, but there are other stations to be aware of:
NEWS FLASH!!!
CITGO CHANGING NAME
American Boycott of Citgo is working. (Must Read This) Remember
Chavez owns Citgo, we can put him out of business. Send this on no matter what.
Chavez is NOW getting a Russian Weapons Factory built by Putin.
The RUSSIANS are building an AK-47 Kalashnikov Assault Rifle factory in Venezuela, to give armament support to Communist Rebel groups throughout the Americas
Chavez NOW has IRANIANS operating his oil refineries in Venezuela for him.
It is likely only a matter of time, if not already, before Chavez has Iranian built
LONG RANGE missiles, with a variety of warhead types aimed at:
Guess Who?
CITGO is NOW in the process of Changing Its Name to PETRO EXPRESS due to the loss of gasoline sales in the USA due to the recent publicity of ownership by Chavez of Venezuela.
Every dollar you spend with CITGO or PETRO EXPRESS gasoline will be used against you, your basic human rights, and your freedoms. He will start wars here in the Americas that will probably be the death of millions of free people.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because Chavez is starting to feel the loss of revenue from his holdings.
HE OWNS CITGO. This is a very important move that everyone should be aware of.
ANNOUNCED JUST RECENTLY, CITGO, BEING AWARE THAT SALES ARE DOWN DUE TO U.S. CUSTOMERS NOT WANTING TO BUY FROM "CITGO-CHAVEZ", HAVE STARTED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF SOME OF THEIR STORES TO: "PETRO EXPRESS"
DO NOT BUY FROM "PETRO EXPRESS" EITHER!!!
"PETRO EXPRESS" IS ALSO 100% OWNED BY "CHAVEZ."
KEEP THIS MEMO GOING SO THAT EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING.
BOYCOTT "CITGO" AND "PETRO EXPRESS"............
MAKE SURE THIS IS PASSED ON TO EVERYONE ON YOUR E-MAIL LIST IN THE UNITED STATES. "IN GOD WE TRUST".

I don't buy that the money goes anywhere else but Chavez's pocket. As far as Bush, he is our President and for that I will be closed lipped, but he is also all about OIL for himself.

I dont usually discusss politics if I can help it..and I did not mean to seem like I was arguing with you.. was just trying to show some background on the topic... but..
will agree with you on ol George W... he seems to have varied interests for himself.. and one of the big ones is the oil...

Although a fisherman, why doesn't GWBush take an interest in dropping the cost off FF supplies?? If he did that, then Jo Anns could have some competition.[cool]

[font "Poor Richard"][green][size 3][cool]Hey MacFky55 JoAnne, Michaels & Tall Mouse to name a few sell material at a very reasonable price that fly tyers like yourself should now find on your weekly places to shop. LOL. Yea I don't agree with everything that president Bush is advocating. But oil for himself? Please! What American is going to give up driving even if gas hits $10.00/gal. And I thought 35ยข / gal was high. Yea right.

I do think gw has a vested interest in oil..to much big money in TX for to not be...
now as far as driving no matter what.. Id say you are right.. but Id also say that is because to live you have to work.. to work you have to get to the job.. that means drive... or public.. in my case its 50 miles one way.. 100 round trip a day.. was the onlly job I could get when I got out of the Navy.. and similar type jobs are simply not available closer in my area (ppl just aint givin em up)..so for now I have to have the car.. but.. I have a prius in mind.. 50 mpg.... only true hybrid ... that means id drive for 5 days without filling up..as it is.. I fill up every other day...

[font "Poor Richard"][green][size 3] Probably then we will see real car pooling take effect. What gets me is seeing big construction trucks etc driving in the car pool lanes. Technically they are suspose to drive no faster than 55mph. That's how fast people in SoCal drive into their garages.[/size][/green][/font][ ]

DR....dont get us started on the big trucks and tour buses from down south .. coupled with the beat up old Chevy pick ups with railing on the roof and down the side... that get loaded up with tires.. mattresses.. kitchen appliances... all tied down with old laundry line rope.. alll swaying side to side as they go "home".... I know I read somewhere that loads above the cab were illegal in most cases and in the few where it is legal they are suppose to be covered with a tarp or a net...
thank you to the poloticians who pushed through NAFTA.. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[cool][font "Poor Richard"][green][size 3]Hey MacFly55 - I probably should add a Miscellanous board where one can deposit their frustrations of the day. Be it politics, price of gas, illegals, poor manners etc. We did that under the Mod site after much discussion. Working out real well.[/size][/green][/font]

Alright Macfly. Did you figure out where to get a good deal on fly tying stuff now???
t
The thread is good. The lead wire is good. The feathers, keep an eye on. Sometimes they have some nice Mallard and Peacock.
Foam blocks to hold your little tying tools, they have a mega supply of. Foam wrap for your expensive tools (so they don't sink when you drop them in the water) yards and yards of the stuff.
Eye balls, craft glue, glitter and mylar. Thin foam for "Hoppers" and wood plugs for "Poppers"
They actually think that only little old ladies will shop in Jo Ann's for their weekly quilting class or to get knitting supplies for their new great grand child.
Phoooooooeeeey!!!
Jo Ann's is for the FF angler. All the other old turds in there are only there because they made a wrong turn in Westchestertonfieldville.[crazy]

I guess they would be for those little #32s you tie. Just remember that I tie the bigger saltwater stuff. I find my eyes in the Button isle. ha ha.[cool]

That's right. I saw that the Wallys World set up a miniature Jo Anne's type of section. I didn't see a whole lot of fly friendly stuff but there is some stuff for the Saltwater FFers. Lots of Glow Beads.[cool]
