Wow, 5 in one outing. Where do you live?!!!! I'm gonna move there!

One of the reasons I'm getting a yak is because I really want to do a lot of muskie fishing. I've never been able to do it because I don't have a boat, and you just can't fish for them from the shore -- at least not consistently.

You can help me get started, if you're willing. What rod and reel do you use? What kind of line and pound test? A steel leader? And what plugs and such are your favorite musky-catchers? Basically, I need to gear up and anything you can tell me will be extremely helpful -- and probably helpful to other newbie muskiehunters as well.
