Schill for your novel...

Hey everyone,

Just wondering what some BFT members' favorite books/novels were and why.

Personally, I'm quite taken by the story offered by Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Unlike his other works, the Dark Tower series (his self-proclaimed Magnum Opus) is a vivid telling of ka, khef, ka-tet and everything beyond our world.

I read a book 40 years ago that was written 40 years before that by Arthur C. Clark.

The book was entitled "Childhoods' End"

It was science fiction at the time; most of the science described in the book is now fact.

It is amazing to see the kind of insight one man can have of the future to come. Also while reading it one can remember the history lessons those of technology developed that support the equipment today that did not exist at the time the book was written...

I enjoyed Kings earlier work, but my latest author I enjoy is William Johnstone. Clancy has some good books out as well.
