Favorite lures

Everyone has a go to bait. A lure that they have confidence in. Mine is the ever present Rapala in classic silver and black. I won't go anywhere without at least one of them.

In the interest of discussion, tell us what your favorite is and why?

keep those lines wet

Daniel C. Nielsen

What colors do you prefer in the hot-n-tot? I was always partial to yellow with Red and black stripes. Its been a while since I seen that combo on a hot-n-tot, but it was always an effective producer for me when nothing else would budge those sandpit bass!

keep those lines wet

Daniel C. white?

Cool. looking through my inventory of lures, I notice I don't have a lot of white in anything but soft plastic baits. I might have to do some experimenting. Anyone ever tried a pure white rapala? Do they even exist? Might be something to check out! Dang Al, you just gave me an idea! I need to run out to the store and get some paint!

keep those lines wet

Daniel C. Nielsen
http://www.nebraskafishing.com/index.html

I think white is an underrated color. Its a lot easier to find other colors than it is white. Personally, I'd like to try white plastic worms, but try finding them in any retail store and odds are you'll still be looking.

I like the plastic frogs Dr.Ketchums has in white. Man, they really work for me. Try them out for yourself if you can find them. If not, hit my website and go the the Dr.Ketchum link and order them from there. Sweet lure!!

keep those lines wet

Daniel C. Nielsen
http://www.nebraskafishing.com/index.html
