Pineview Utah report

Fished topwater for 2 hours with only 2 smallies to show for it. Started throwing jerkbaits and caught 4 tigers. 2-30", 1 28", and a 26". My uncle lost(what i believe to be) a near state record smallie on a norman crankbait. This fish was within 3' of the boat and i am confident it was over 7# and 23"! What a fun day.[cool]

Looks like another banner day on the lake for the muskies. You ever figure out how to do that through the ice and you'll set.

Been doin alot of thinkin on that very matter and i have come to the conclusion that that is one of the hardest fish i have ever tried to catch through the ice. The only other fish i can compare are macks. Hopefully i can get the jinx off this winter.[cool]

wont be long, the guys are out scoping in the deer already...

labor day weekend starts the beginning of deer season prep here.....

Ya I know its not musky, but they seem to have eluded me for yet another season... Crafty little buggers aint they..[cool]

Maybe now the kids are back in school and the numbers of pwc's have been reduced on the waters I may be able to get out again...

My 4 year old does a little thing every day atleast once. He comes up to me whining and says he wishes it would snow and we can go camping in it. That's my boy. It is 100* today and i am sick of it![mad]
