SPECIAL RULES FOR BUYING ANY WHITE-TAILED LICENSES EXPLAINED
#1
CASPER - Leftover buck deer and antelope licenses are now on sale, which has raised some questions about how many any white-tailed licenses a hunter can purchase.

Hunters, both resident and nonresident, can buy an any white-tailed license in area 11-15/167 or 65/66/68 addition to buck deer licenses obtained in the drawing or if they have already bought a general deer license. But, hunters can only buy one any white-tailed license over the counter, even if it is the first deer license purchased this year.

License issuance regulations are more liberal for this any white-tailed licenses as incentive to get the licenses sold and meet harvest objectives.

All any white-tailed licenses can be purchased through the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Cheyenne Office. In addition, the area 11-15/167 and 65/66/68 licenses are available at the Casper Game and Fish Office and the area 23/26 and 24/27 licenses are available at the Sheridan Game and Fish Office. Only the area 11-15/167 and 65/66/68 any white-tailed deer license are available to hunters who have already drawn a limited quota buck license or purchased a general license.

Leftover doe/fawn deer and antelope and cow/calf elk licenses went on sale Aug. 15 at license agents in or near the respective hunt areas.

Anyone with questions about leftover licenses can call the Game and Fish at (800) 842-1934 or their nearest regional office.
