HUNTER MANAGEMENT STATION SCHEDULE
#1
CODY- The Hunter Management Program was developed to maintain and enhance hunter access to private lands by working with landowners who control large expanses of open space in Wyoming.

A Hunter Management Area may refer solely to private lands or a combination of private, state trust land and federal land within the ranch boundaries. Regardless, hunters who wish to take advantage of this program must obtain written permission from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to hunt a specific Hunter Management Area.

There are several ways to obtain a permission slip-the easiest is to apply online by visiting the Department's Hunter Management Areas Web site. After license verification and submitting vehicle information, you will be able to print out your permission slip, ranch rules, and hunter management area map.

You may also stop by a hunter management area check station. Bring in all of your hunting licenses (even those purchased over the counter) and your vehicle information or vehicle registration. If you plan to send a friend or relative to obtain your permission slip, they must provide a photocopy of all of your hunting licenses and your vehicle information or vehicle registration.

There are four Hunter Management Area's in the Big Horn Basin. The hunter management check station names, location, dates, and times are as follows:
