Fished Willard Bay yesterday, We were fishing from the shore at the mouth of the south marina. Tried for wiper for about an hour with no luck so threw on the worm and had good success for cats. Like we say a fish is a fish.

Most of them were alittle larger than the ones we usually get out of there. 9 to 12 inches, we usually get the little 6 inchers for some reason.

Lots of small cats in Willard, if you get a few that are 12 inches that's not bad. Oh for the days of the big Willard cats. There was a 17 pounder caught last year right were you were fishing but the big ones are few and far between. WH2

I have found that it is hard to find big cats anywhere. My son-in-law used to night fish willard for cats and he said you could get some good ones. I have yet to see that. Probably will give that a try later on in the summer.
