Pontooning the South Fork of the Snake

There was some talk of floating this on a pontoon on one of the boards and I was wondering about how difficult it was and any suggestions of where to find any info about making a trip like this.

I have done it twice from the lodge down to Heise. Its pretty much an all day trip. I was worried on the first trip; specifically, how hard it would be to naavigate. However, I found it was not hard at all and one of the most beutifal and scenic trips I have ever been on. Oh yeah, the fishing was good as well.

The lodge is at Conant?

I am not sure on the name. Its a lodge right of the north side of the road. Probably about 10 miles from IF. You can't miss it. There is a dock and parking lot where you can launch,
