i went to a town hall meeting last night here in Mt Pleasant with the forest service for the Manti-Ls Sal area.. and from what was said about E-lake may or may not be good news.. they have found the areas that are loseing water but the only way of fixing the holes is to drain the lake and repare the holes and hope that the repare holds.. they have a 4000 cfm pump runing the water back in right now and are driling a new well to put another 5000 cfm pump to start puting back the water that it is loseing now.. right now the lake is 98.45 feet below spilway.. and loseing 100 acre feet a day but 40 acre feet is going back in.. with the new pump it should stop the lake from droping further once the pump is runing... they have not set a time on when thay are going to try and repare the hole as of yet just that they are going to put forth there best efert to solve the problem..
