Henry's Lake

Anyone been up to Henry's in the past week or so? I'm thinking about heading up this week... weather permitting. Any reports would be much appreciated!

Sorry I have never made it up that far in ID but I'm sure one of our members are familiar with the lake. Check back later & thanks for stopping by. [font "Poor Richard"][green][size 3]BTW this is what I was able to find out about conditions at Henry's Lake: Action is making up for the slow summer season. Leach patterns presented in shallow water are producing on either side of the hatchery. It is getting crowded here so here's tips for other locations.
Those fly-fishers braving the waters in tubes and boats over by the cliffs are having success, too. The southwest corner (Hope & Duck creeks) is also producing as is the area near Staley's. Cutthroat trout, averaging three to five pounds; cutthroat-rainbow hybrids of up to 12 pounds; and brook trout up to three pounds abound in the waters of Henrys Lake.[/size][/green][/font]

I think your timing is PERFECT! It is on so bad right now. DR mentioned some killer spots but I will add Staleys springs.
