Sorry, my original post was denied by the moderators. Their modified post made no sense. So I pulled it.

I'm not sure what natural bait glow in fresh water, maybe they hit it out of anger. However I had caught a nice sized bass one night using a bait I constructed on the boat. I took a small zoom lizard(black/red flake) and my buddies glow in the dark tube bait, and cut the tube bait basically to make something like a spinnerbait skirt. Then I slid the skirt around the head of the lizard making it look more like a newt wich is a bait found in the water I was fishing. Only got one hit but it was about a 5lb largemouth.

![]() the natural or live bait found in fresh water that glows in the dark, actualy truns on and off is the common every day lightning bug... in its larva stage it lives in the mud at the river and lake's edge. I find them early in the spring around april.... [signature]

[cool][green]Hi SkyLighter and welcome to the BFT. Sorry that I didn't see you original post as then I would be able to tell you why it was edited. BTW a Mod didn't, so it must have been one of our Administrators. Have a Happy New Year.[/green]
