Fly tying dvd
#1
[#385000]It is getting to the time of year where my wife and kids are starting to ask that inevitable question.. what do you want for Christmas?... normally I can come up with things on my own but this year I would like to get a good dvd or dvd series on fly tying. It would need to start from beginner and work its way up.

I had thought of getting the dvd for the kwsu series "Fly Tying, The Anglers Art", I know DR has seen some of this series. The reason I liked this series is that I felt that the tyers did a good job of keeping it easy to follow and step by step..

So my question is does anyone here know of a good dvd or dvd series that is basic, easy to follow yet covers from beginner to advanced. For now Id prefer it to be freshwater and if needed lean toward wet flies and nymphs.

Thank you all in advance for any input you may give.

[cool][green]Hey there MacFly the KWSU series has numerous videos available on their site. But with reference to your request there are literally hundreds of FT DVDs on the market however, I would be reluctant to recommend anyone of them not knowing which one would meet your criteria. While it doesn't address your question what I have found that works for me is down loading free videos and illustrations for reference. I have a file of 95 so far.[/green]

feather craft will make a custom DVD with the patterns that you want but probably not step by step instructions.
