Anyone looking to buy an Avet TRX30W? Or maybe you know someone or a store that's looking for one?
I only brought it out on a boat once for a sword fishing trip and I didn't catch anything at all. It's been sitting in my closet since. It's spooled with 130# jb hollow spectra and topshotted with 80# momoi hi catch. It has 70# max drag. I have all the original packaging/box/lube/etc. It never caught anything so the drag is still 100% brand new. It's never been opened apart. The only thing is there are minor scratch marks from mounting it to a fishing rod but that's normal and has nothing to do with the reel's performance.
I bought it for $750 spooled. I'll sell it for $600 shipped. If you want, I have a fiberglass fishing rod that was custom built by Kevin Bogan in Point Pleasant just for that reel. This rod has not caught anything at all, so it is still 100% brand new. The rod cost me $335. It has an inscription saying "Custom Built In New Jersey". I'll sell both reel and rod for $750. It's a 6'3 Calstar XXH 50-120 with ALL SILVER/CHROME (Aftco unibutt, Aftco rollertop, Aftco roller stripper guides). Calstar is top, top quality and has lifetime warranty provided by Kevin Bogan.
I spent $1085 for both, so you can get both for $750 (saving yourself $335). If you want just the reel, you can have it for $650. If you want just the rod, you can have it for $150.
