A public hearing on the proposed 2008-2009 Fish Code Amendments will be held January 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Division of Fish and Wildlife Central Region Office in Robbinsville. Anglers can view the proposed changes, which were published in the December 3 New Jersey Register, on the DEP Web site. The required 60 day public comment period opened on December 3 and extends to February 1, 2008.
The 2008 Freshwater Fishing Digest, which is normally available in December, will not be available until late February 2008. The late publication of this edition is due to a delay in publishing the proposed Fish Code amendments in the New Jersey Register.
