I fished Daniels today along with my mom, dad, uncle, and friend and had a ball! This really is my favorite place to ice fish. Between all of us we landed somewhere around 60 fish with the average size being around 16-17 inches. Caught four that were over eighteen. I caught the biggest fish of the day which came it at 21 inches and boy did it take line! Most successful depths were 27 ft and 13 ft. Fishing right off the bottom was most productive however as the day went on the fish seemed to be in all areas of the water column. Used small white "boogers", paddlebugs, ratfinkees, and small tubes. Weather was perfect all day long. All in all it was an awesome trip with family and its always nice to have a trip like this.

Nice Fish man. I always like ice fishing at Daniels also. I've been trying to get out there this year but haven't made it yet.

Were the ducks and geese thick at the inlet?
