The Colorado Division of Wildlife Southwest Region has scheduled a Sportmen's Advisory Group meeting in Montrose, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Jan. 26 at the Holiday Inn Express.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear from hunters and anglers about concerns and questions they have regarding wildlife and related issues. The meeting is open to the public.
Attending the meeting from the DOW will be Tom Spezze, southwest regional manager. He'll talk about issues affecting wildlife in Colorado, and specifically the southwest region. Other local DOW staff will also attended the meeting to address issues specific to the Montrose area.
"This is an opportunity for sportsmen to really talk about what's on their minds," Spezze said. "We invite anyone who has an interest in wildlife issues to attend"
