PROVO RIVER

I went and fished the Provo last night through town. It was a very nice afternoon but for some reason the fishing was really slow. I was just tossing a nightcrawler. At this time of year I have always done very good using this method, but I only managed a couple of bites last night and no fish landed. I'm pretty sure the fish are still there but maybe they just weren't very hungry. Anyway it was nice to get out.

I just found the answer to my question about the ice at Scofield on the DWR page. I'll be heading up on Saturday morning to fish the open water from my float tube. If anyone else wants to come just send me an email and we can work it out. I live in Orem. The fishing should be good.
