This is one of my favorite places to fish. I'm always looking for a new place to fish here and love hiking, so does anybody know of some lakes that have some nice bookies or post some of your fishing stories.
I spent last year fishing Purple and Blue with some good success. Didn't catch a lot of Brookies but they were in the 3 pound range and tastes so good. My family took the quads, so I explored that area and found most lakes had stunted fish or winter kill.

It is most commonly called Boulder Mountain. Hedges I aren't going to give ya specifics butt, get a good topo map and don't over look the west slope coming off Griffin Top towards Antimony. Drop me some info on your favortites and I'll drop ya some of mine. I think thats only fair.

If you like the Boulder, don't forget to try Thousand Lake Mountain. Not as many waters, but hardly any pressure. I caught some huge brookies there when I lived in Torrey. Rumor has it they screwed up the survey and Thousand Lake was supposed to be the name for Boulder Mountain and vice versa. If you think about the names and their respective terrain it makes a lot of sense.
Good Fishing, Kayote

thats what I have always heard also. That the original GLO maps was miss named and it would have caused to much grief to change it so they left it.
