Hey guys whats up? Im a newbie here and decided to check out this forum. I am an avid fisherman and have fished dang near every body of water in Idaho. I fished everything from trout to sturgeon and alot of bowfishing. My home town is Arco just north of Idaho Falls. Where are all you guys from? Anyone from Northern Idaho im goin to school up here and am just gettin the feel for the fishery?

Hey, welcome to the site.
I'm from the Lewiston Area, but now I live in Rexburg, so I've been fishing just about everywhere too. This area is definitely great for fishing, and hunting too for that matter. you're in a pretty good spot, within a few hours you can catch anything from little tiny brookies in a small mountain stream, to giant browns and rainbows in the south fork or henry's fork, to steelhead in the salmon, even to sturgeon on the snake (I caught my first this summer below CJ Strike). As you can probably tell, I kind of like southeast Idaho.

Welcome to the board. I live in Rexburg and fish all over southeastern Idaho. I fish for just about everything. I love flyfishing, but I use all types of gear. I have also been lucky enough to fish on both coasts and I worked in Alaska for three summers. As you can tell by my handle the Windriver mountain range in Wyoming is my true love. I backpack and fish it every summer.

Welcome to the board. There are a few guys who fish Northern Idaho that will post reports every now and then. Four years ago there was very little activity on the Idaho board and it has grown exponentially since then. Most of the reports/talk on this board are from Eastern Idaho with an increasing number from the Boise and Magic Valley areas.

I mostly fish the SE and Upper Snake Regions but I will likely make at least one fishing trip to the SW Region as the water starts to warm up this spring.

Cool sounds like i'll fit in just fine here. I grew up in eastern idaho so thats the fishery i know the best so ill spill most info i got to you guys. I'll be guiding the middle fork this summer but on weekends ill still fish most of what you guys fish.
