WDFW Commission Plans Conference Call to Discuss Columbia River Spring Chinook Regulations

OLYMPIA - The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission has scheduled a conference call Thursday (Feb. 14) to discuss efforts by resource managers in Washington and Oregon to develop concurrent regulations for the Columbia River spring chinook fishery.

Members of the public interested in hearing the discussion can do so via speaker phone at 3:30 p.m. at Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) offices in Olympia and Vancouver, Wash.

The public can hear the conference call in the commission's office in Olympia on the 5th floor of the Natural Resources Building at 1111 Washington St. S.E. The Vancouver office is located at 2108 Grand Blvd.<br />
No public comments will be taken during the conference call.<br />
On Friday (Feb. 15), fishery managers from Washington and Oregon will meet under the Columbia River Compact to finalize pre-season plans for the spring chinook fishery.
