Had an awsome day with a friend at Norton Bay today. The highlight of the day was we caught 3 walleye[cool] 44 perch & 3 trout (2 of them at 2#'s). We started at 13' and got nothing, moved 15' and very slow, best was at 18'. Best color was a red and very bright yellow tube jig, and then anything yellow tipped with a worm, meal worm or eye. Tried my slammer again and no takers, its probably really going to make me jump when it finally goes off.
WE GOT WALLEYE THROUGH THE ICE, THANK YOU LORD[cool]

Hi,
Great report and pictures. I am glad to hear you did good, real good as a matter of fact.
I went to Sandy Bay last Saturday and caught (1) small trout. I was the only one there. I could see where someone had been drilling lots of holes in the middle. I also fished the bay straight down. Finally went home with (2) small trout.
Those look like some really nice perch. Nothing better than a batch of fried perch fillets.
Thanks again for you report and I hope you catch something on your spring loaded outfit. Better leave your drag pretty loose.

I haven't caught a walleye yet. It is one of the fish on my must catch list. You should have a great meal between the walleye and perch.

Great report and congrats on the walleye! There has been outstanding perch fishing in Idaho this year. Glad you have been doing well.

Heading to Norton Bay in the morning hope the weathers good.
Weather was great, had alot of slush around the edges, but had a place we could cross to get on the ice, thankyou Lord.
However the perch were very slow for most everyone. Still in 18fow and they liked anything that glowed tipped with a nightcrawler. Caught 19 perch with several 10+". Did catch three on minnows and 1 13" walleye.
Access will be iffy from now on yet the ice is a good 15" and it did nopt get too slushy by your holes today.
Only drilled 3 holes all the others (8) we opened from the day before.
