The mighty Producer strikes again! (report)
#1
[Smile][red] I had a great day at Willard this afternoon. I started out by the feedlot [/red][red], not much happening there. There were a couple of boats out there but I didn't see anyone getting fish.[/red]

[#ff0000]I decided to head over to the Southwest corner and work my way north to the light pole. I couldn't believe how many boats were out there, I made my around and WAM. [/#ff0000]

[#ff0000]I thought that I had snagged a rock but this time the rock was fighting back and was getting mad. I was able to get it in the the boat and was surprized to see the biggest Wiper that I have ever seen come out of Willard yet.[/#ff0000]

[#ff0000]It was at least 2- 2 1/2 pounds, unfortunatly that was the highlight of my afternoon, but it was still great. And I was using the mighty Modified Producer White with the Blue Back.[/#ff0000]

[red] Actually I was about 400 yards North of the SW Corner, but could have been about the same distance. I couldn't see the light pole from where I was. I stayed pretty close to the rocks.[/red]

Good to hear you got one, lets hope this is the beginning of good things to come. What time of the day did you catch it? Did you see Predator out there in his new boat? WH2

I read your post from the day before and thought you might have seen him out there because you were asking what time he was going. You said you were trolling close to shore, how deep was the water you were in? WH2

[red] The water was between 5.5 to 12 ft. deep, trolled about 1.5 -2mph. That seemed to be the ticket.[/red]
