Another Weeb Post
#1
Fished the weeb again today, I know I know I need to venture out and fish new spots [laugh]

Caught several white fish and 2 decent browns lost something big took my line almost to the backing and unhooked it self [pirate]

Hot fly of the day was a light grew flash back sow

I did notice that when pulling the moss of my hook there was a small cone shaped stick and after a doing some research I broke it open and small mint green lava came out of it anybody know what these are?

Nice work.

That first pic looks like a nice Cutt.

The stick with the mint green larva is most likely a caddis fly larva. There is a pattern called a "peeking caddis" that I've tied a few times but has never produced anything.

Defenitely a caddis. I have done well on the Weber used a peaking caddis.
