went to the little sahara this weekend for a scout trip. Man is there a view out there. Went for the night and had a blast. Went sandboarding(snowboarding on the sand). The wind was pretty steady, i would say about 25 mph the whole day. Just wanted to know if it was always windy there? I do wish we could have brough some 4*4's though. Hey I told you it was off the subject.

Hey CWF,

Little Sahara are the sand dunes down by Delta. Its a State park and is one of the States BIG TIME fun areas. If you go be prepared to eat lots of sand and plan on bringing a bit of it home with you LMAO

Get that Eagle as soon as you can. I never regretted getting mine. It is a lot of work, but way worth it. A lot of scouts now never think of the program, or getting their eagle as an important thing, but I'll tell you. It is one of the most worthwhile programs in existance for the youth today. As well as for some of the old geezers who teach them.[Wink]

You know I heard that if you are an Eagle scout and you join the army, you get an automatic advancement. Anyone know if that's true, and even more details like ranks?
