LOGGING IN AND OUT
#1
Once you have completed registration with BFT, you can log in and participate in all forums that require that you are logged in. You can log in from virtually all pages on all boards, using your choice of two different login options.

1. Look for the “Login” window within the dark blue bar at the top of the page. Type in your BFT user name. This feature is “case sensitive”, so you must be sure to use the right combination of upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers and underscore marks…or you cannot log in.

2. You can also login by clicking on the “Login” button on the light blue line on every forum. This will bring up a complete login window, with multiple options and information.

3. After entering your BFT user name (correctly), move to the “Password” window and enter your BFT password. If you can’t remember it or get it wrong, there is a system in place for you to recover it by email. You should have set up a security question at the time you registered.

4. There is an option called “remember me”. This box is automatically checked, to insure that you will not have to log on each time you visit BFT. You can uncheck it if you prefer to log on each time.

5. Click “GO” and the dark blue bar will change to your personal bar. It will have a link to check your personal profile…or to edit it. It will have your BFT user name and will tell you if there are any “Personal Messages” in your file, waiting to be read.

6. When you wish to logout, there is a button on the far right side of your personal info bar…the dark blue one at the top. When you click on “Logout” you will get a confirmation page, confirming that you have logged out, but in case you goofed, you click on the back arrow to return to being logged on…or you can reenter your information at the top and log back in. Or, you can just close the BFT window and move on.

6. The next time you log back in, the “Remember Me” function will allow you to type in only the first one or two letters of your BFT user name and it will display the rest. Click on your name and then on Password and then Go. Simple.

We have tried to make it as easy as possible to access and surf the BFT boards. And, by using the automatic memory aspect, you need not go through the login process every time you visit. However, some people prefer to log off and delete the recognition “cookies” frequently, as a part of their personal or company security procedures. That is always your decision to make.
