We invite you to take some time and surf the different options…clicking on all the buttons and links, and checking out all of the items on the drop down menus. [/font]

Sample whatever looks good, but take only as much on your plate as you can handle at any one time. Pick a few boards or forums to visit regularly and bookmark them or create shortcuts on your computer so that you can find them easily each time you return.[/font]

[font "Times New Roman"]Registering is simple and there are no fees. It is to your advantage to register and set up a password. Some of our forums are open to readership, without being registered, but in order to participate in the posts and replies functions you usually need to be registered. This is our only means of preventing the “garbage” that often appears on boards that do not require registration and which are not monitored. [/font]

[font "Times New Roman"]All of our forums are moderated, and have one or more moderators who have the ability to edit, delete or move posts from any member. Most of our forums are “family friendly”, and we do not allow profanity or questionable subject matter to be posted. We also discourage personal attacks or “unsportsmanlike conduct”. Those who ignore requests from moderators to refrain from making inappropriate posts are subject to “time outs”…which can range from a week to permanent. In other words, if you do not want to conform to BFT policies of conduct, you may be banned from participation.[/font]

They are selected for their knowledge of the subject of the forums they moderate, as well as for their computer skills and past website experience. They are moderators because they want to help other members and are a key to the ongoing success of the whole BFT program. Other members may apply to become moderators by following the steps outlined in the HELP DESK post on that subject.[/font]
