[font "Times New Roman"]Avatars are the small pictures, cartoons or graphics you see on some users’ posts, just under their BFT user names at the upper left side of their posts. You may add one to your personal profile page by following these steps:[/font]

[ol][li][font "Times New Roman"]Click on “Forum Settings”, in the light blue menu bar. This will bring up your personal profile information.[/font][/li][li][font "Times New Roman"]About 8 items below your user name, there is a space for “User Icon”. If you have not yet created your avatar, there will be no picture and the “None” will be checked.[/font][/li][li][font "Times New Roman"]If you have decided on the picture or graphic you want for an avatar, click on “Browse” and use the menu to find that picture. Double click on it and the file name will load into the box.[/font][/li][li][font "Times New Roman"]Click on “Save Forum Settings” and your picture will appear on your profile page. It will also appear on all of your posts…past, present and future…until you change it.[/font][/li][/ol]

Make sure that you do not use a poor quality photo, with too much detail. If you do, then it will be difficult to see it easily and the impact will be wasted.[/font]
