Hey fellas,
Just want to introduce myself. My name is Dan. New to the board. Was reading through the posts and seems we have a lot in common. I've spent a lot time float tubing the Vegas wash around 33 hole. Have not been out this year yet. Would love to meet up with some of you guys, always best to go in a group right, I usually go alone. I am also interested in going out with anyone who has a boat, more than willing to split the crazy price of gas. I am an excellent fisherman not looking for a guide or anything. [:p]I know some neat spots up to the north too that are great if anyone has a small Jon boat. Lots of 10-13 inch bass and some huge gill. I have a long bed truck, no trailer no problem. HI Dan, Welcome to the board. I am usually going fishing with my girlfriend Julie, occasionally she bails on a before sunrise launch, but not often...I'd have to ask her before we invited you....

Bass bite is on right now. Striper bite is also very good. Suggest launch at Boxcar Cove if your ride can stand the road. Fish the Cove and the North side of what used to be Black Island, All the points...On the West facing side, You'll see the chunk rock shore which ends in some rock bluffs and reefs. Good spot for bass. Reasonably protected from the prevailing SW winds. Launch early to avoid the jet skis and water skiers.
