Devil Creek
#1
I fished Devil creek res Saturday. The fishing was fast and furious...I am sure they were planters because they were all carbon copies, 14 - 14.5 inch rainbows. I remember somebody saying something about kokanee in devil's creek but they didn't show up. [Image: sad.gif]

Wanted to try Glendale but I was worried about boaters and traffic. I will be trying it soon though.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th!

I fished Glendale on Saturday for about 2 hours. If you fish the upper end the boats aren't that bad. I didn't have any bother me. The fish was okay I missed a lot of hits. I'm sure they were Bluegill and Crappie. Between my Dad and I we ended up with 10 nice bluegill and crappie. I brought them home and my boys loved them.

I'm thinking about heading up to Devil Creek at the end of this month. Did you fish from the shore or a boat. And what did you use.

Fished from my float tube down by the dam. I had the most luck with nightcrawler/power egg combo taken deep with a small egg sinker. Some experimenting was required to locate the depth where the fish were holding. Good luck.
