Drift-fishing Report Boynton Beach, Fla
#1
[inline S4010001.JPG]

July has really heated up the fishing this year aboard the Lady K, out of Lantana, Florida in Palm Beach County. The author holds up a monster 40 pound Jack Crevalle which was brought in into the boat while drifting over a wreck in 75 feet of water off the Boynton Inlet.

The Lady k is a family oreinted fishing vessel, suitable for the professional and beginner anglers alike. Pictured below is one of our guest, Colette Smith of San Diego, California, who caught her first fish ever, a 20 pound Kingfish, minutes after receiving instructions on how to use the tackle.

The afternoon trips trips have been producing good numbers of Yellow-tail and Mutton Snapper this month also. These tasty fish can be taken either by spooling the bottom with dead sardines or using squid tipped jigs on light spinning tackle. The Morgan Family caught 8 Mutton Snapper and a kingfish while fishing aboard the Lady K and were excellent students when taught how to spool the bottom.
