two u.p. dams break in manistique county in michigan . the silver lake dam(s?) broke and has led to the evacuation of 1700 people from there homes . will post more info tomorow .

FLOOD WARNING:

A flash flood warning has been issued for people living in Marquette County until 9:30 tonight. At least 1,700 people in the county were ordered to leave their homes this morning. State police say a dike at the Silver Lake Dam west of Marquette gave way yesterday. That's causing water levels to rise in a river heading toward another dam. If both those dams break, the city of Marquette could see serious flooding.No injuries have been reported.
