Browns

I stumbled into a brown early last summer in the Deschutes arm of Wickiup. It wasn't huge but it was nice and the damn fish hooked me....I want more and bigger. Can anyone give me an idea of what time of year would be best for big browns at Wickiup or Paulina? I'm from Idaho and can usually spend a week in Central Oregon. I'm very flexible time-wise and want to schedule when the big ones will be looking for me. Thanks

I would emagine the runs there would be much the same as in michigan, our up stream brown are in march and april. by the end of may the start heading back down for deaper waters.

Our season is closed in march to allow for the spawn to go undisterbed.
