Yes around there, the thing is is that it freezes and unfreezes several times before it stays. Last year I drove up twice and couldn't fish because of ice.

I went up on Monday. It snowed a little on me and was a bit windy. There was only 2 boats and a couple of pontoons on the lake all day. It was wide open. No ice yet as of Monday. I was up to look at a job so I just fished from shore on South side. Caught one real nice 4-5 pounder. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the quick reply- now I have to watch the weather- it was to be sunny now the forecast is a cold rain.
Snows OK- cold rain isn't enjoyable.

Ice is forming on sections like the hatchery area for one, and tonight is cooooold, so can't be much longer.

A thing I would consider is right now there is only a narrow window when the bite is on. It really doesn't get going until around 10:00 or 10:30 and it shuts right off around 2:00. Not trying to discourage you; just saying that 9 total hours of driving and set up will yield about 3 hours of productive fishing.

You are right on the bite window- I was there the 21st and 22nd. If the fishing and the weather were like it was on the 21st then I would still be gone in the morning- looks like it will be a cold rain though---------- looks like Daniels or Strawberry.

No no- Daniel Nofishman - he lives down the gravel road behind me- has a 3 acre pond with Belgian Mouth Breeding Baramundi's in it.

I was up there Thursday fishing Island Park Res. It was 45 degrees and 40 mile an hour winds in the late afternoon . A wind like we had would break up a lot of ice if there was any . There is no ice on Island Park . I fished From the dam to Trudes . It is going to have to get real cold fast if there is going to be ice fishing on Henry's . Curt G.

We drove past Henry's today 11/15/08 and no ice to be seen. Hebgen and quake lake are also ice free. It will have to get alot colder for safe ice on Henry's this year.
