Float, of squid- Southern California is blessed with squid reproducing within our fishing waters. When the 'squid float' they are mating, laying eggs and become avaliable to catch. Light boats attract the squid to the surface and they get caught to the delight of yellowtail and WSB anglers. see squid jig.
