Report, Port Isabel 5/18
#1
Not a whole lot to tell.We fished the better part of the afternoon with live shrimp and a small split shot. The tide was moving fast up the ship channel. We caught a few small speckled trout, snook, mangrove snapper, flounder and a fish that I am not sure what it was. It was short, brown, had a big head and long wide peck fins. I'll guess it was a rock fish because it looked like a rock. LOL
Maybe more and better next time.
I believe the ugly fish was one of these 2 species.
