Sunday Lake Mead
#1
Hit the lake at 5:30 am on Sunday. Wanted to toll and cast in search of a big boy or girl! Started on Boulder Beach trolling. Here is what happened first.

The wind was very strong so i stayed trolling. The entire beach was covered with birds diving for shad from the shore to out in open water. Tried Crawdad cove no luck. Went back to the beach and trolled some more. This is how the day ended up.

Great day on the lake. After cleaning the fish this is what I found.

No trout they are still eating shad. They are pretty thick still. A few more trout plants and some colder weather the shad will move out deep for the winter. Then big fish season is on.

I was trolling big trout ac plugs at first. Then i switched to a rattle trap and a small trout ac plug. also caught them on a medium size storm swim bait dark gray and rainbow color.

Hi Dean,

Great report. Thanks for all the tips on posting multiple pics on a single thread. I will definitely try my best, and take up your offer if I can't figure it out. Your offer is very much appreciated.

Best regards,

Paul
