Mud Lake where are the fish?

My son and I fished Mud Lake this afternoon and we didn't get a single bite. We fished the same area that the guys broke through the ice with a snowmobile on Thursday. No one that we talked to had caught anything. We couldn't find weeds anywhere on the north shore by the first parking area. Some guys that we talked to fished the same area last year and had good fishing. Also someone lost an ice rod with spinning reel and it is still by the trail close to the bushes. We left it there sticking up in the snow hoping whoever lost it would come back and find it.

So has anyone found the fish at Mud Lake?

i was there the day the guy fell through and i fished for three hours with out a bight. it was frustrating.
