Deep Creek 12/27/2008
#1
My daughter and I went up today and arrived there at 11:00 am. The road was of course unplowed but I followed the other tracks and parked at the first parking lot. I walked out about 80 yards and we drilled 3 holes and had constant bites the whole two hours we were there but they were very lite. My daughter iced 2 rainbows. 1 @ 13 inches, and the other @ 14 inches. Snowed the whole time.

Sounds like a decent day! What colors and bait were they biting on?

I had a white cricket with a neon green jig head tipped with meal worm, one with a green cricket with a neon jig head also tipped with meal worm, and a jig with rainbow power bait. They didn't like the power bait one as well.

I'm glad the wife finally let you out of the house. I hope we don't get you too cold or anything. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble. [Wink]
