So this is from the second week in November i know its a bit late but i just figured out how to post pic and i figured some of you guys would enjoy it i took my fishing buddy greg fishing for steelhead for his first time it was a slow day up in salmon. i had hooked into 3 different fish that day they all felt like really good fish and greg had hooked into one early that morning and then right around 4 pm he hooked and landed his first steel head and it just happened to be a planter so he got to take it home. thats how you get people hooked right there. he worked his butt off for that fish and now all he does is when are we going back to salmon? when are we going back to salmon? i now have a new steelhed partner because of that trip before none of my friends would go cause it really is some tough fishing sometimes. well heres the pic

That is a beautiful fish. What part of the river did you catch it? If you ever need a steelhead friend just post when you want to go and I think you will have many friends here. []

yeah it was an amazing fish for hist first we were fish by owl creek its my favorite hole on the entire stretch and now yes im sure there will always be someone willing to go lol[]

thats what im going for. you know i love all sort of fishing and i am avid about all of it, but there is just something special about steelhead fishing. my heart belongs to see run rainbows.
