Deer Creek, Strawberry 5/22-5/25

Went up and camped at Strawberry this weekend. We found the fish were on a early morning bite. We caught some fish but not that many. Chicken Creek proved to have the best results. We trolled needle fish about 2 mph. We also tried to find the kokanee with no luck. If anyone has any info on were to finds some kokes up at the Berry it would be greatly appreciated. We went down to Deer Creek and used bottom bouncers for a while and caught one Walleye. We then started casting jigs for smallies and caught a few nice small mouths and another couple of nice eyes. all in all it was a pretty good weekend. I wish I could of got to Jordenell oh well next time.

What area of the lake did you catch the walleyes, how deep were you catching them and what were they hitting. Any info appreciated. Only been there once in the boat so I don't know the lake.
