My wife and I, and two of my buddies decided to give Strawberry a shot on Saturday and did pretty good. We arrived at 7:00 to -3 degrees...buuuurrrr. Hit the ice at the marina in 30 feet & caught a couple right away, and then it got slow, so we moved to 20-25 feet & caught nothin!! Stayed there for a bit and decided to move back to 30 feet. Glad we did! We caught 23 between 15" & 18", missed a bunch of bites, and lost a few at the hole...bummer. All fish were released. DWR officers rolled up on us to check licenses and to see how the fishing was. Nice guys, and they mentioned that a few people they had talked to said is was slow. Left at 3:00 pm, and are planning to head back next weekend[
